Reading a Photo #3

How would you describe the lines in this picture? The shapes? The colors? What does this photograph show?
The buildings look fake from how the image was captured, the background is more of a cool tone  making it further away and everything else has more of a warmer tone which makes everything look closer. It shows a guy in mid air on ski's in the middle of the like a little town?
What interests you most about this work of art?
It appears to be photoshoped because the image itself makes no sense which caught my attention.
What do you think is worth remembering about this photograph?
The random person in mid air

What words would you use to describe this photograph? What other words might we use?
Struggle. Power. Fighting for what's right. Standing up to those who are opposed.

What does this photograph remind you of?
It reminds me of all the protests and marches relating to immigration. It reminds me that I have something to fight for which is to do whatever it takes to keep my family together so my siblings don't grow up without our parents.

What do you think is good about this photograph? What is not so good?
Good: The arm is centered and has the "for my people tattoo showing which gives the picture more meaning and a little more depth and the color
Not so Good: if it had more than just than one hand it would've had more meaning like show that they are not standing alone.

How would you describe the people in this picture? Are they like you or different?

  • full of will and power to stand up to those who keep them from fighting for equality. They are but at the same time they aren't. We stand up for what's right but from different countries.

What do you think is the most important part of this picture?

  • The woman with the hijab with our flag holding a sign saying, "Our bodies Our minds Our power"

What do you think is worth remembering about this photograph?

  • The cause and that the girl with the US hijab looks like the girl in the sign so my guess is she wanted to look like the representation of the person in the sign
